WADAA Junior Club in Cumbria

WADAA Kingfishers is the junior section of the Association and is open to all young anglers under sixteen years old. The annual membership is just £15.00 a year and allows you to fish all the Associations game and coarse fisheries whenever you like.

WADAA Kingfisher members can also take part in a full programme of coaching, competition and social events, nearly all of which are free. For new anglers we also have plenty of equpment and tackle that you can use until you get your own. Continue reading

Junior Event at Bishop Auckland

Bishop Auckland Angling Club will be holding a junior tuition event on Friday 27th May. The evening is free of charge, open to junior members and juniors who would like to know more about the sport of fishing.

Evening starts at 6.30 with introduction and safety talk from Junior coach Cliff Johnston. During the 1 hour coaching session juniors will have the chance to improve their casting skills with tuition available on  the single and double handed rods. Continue reading

Are u a talented angler? 2011 England Youth Trials

The Angling Trust is looking for talented young anglers who would like to trial out for the U18s and U22s Youth trials which will be taking place at the end of May.

Application forms have been sent to all who fished in trials last year, and are also available on the Angling Trust website at www.anglingtrust.net in the International Competitions section.
